The Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan is pleased to present this list of events celebrating Black History Month. We will update the schedule as more information becomes available. We pay tribute to Dr. Alfred Shadd, a Canadian born teacher and
doctor who was the first recorded Black resident of
Share the Pride. Celebrate Black History Month 2008 and commemorate the Bicentennial of the Abolition of the Atlantic Slave Trade.
